Pic of discipleship authority being sola ScripturaDiscipleship begins with Jesus Christ, who builds and runs his Church with holy grace. As his disciples we acknowledge he alone is King and Head of his Church in heaven and on earth.

Through his Word we are discovering together how to live as citizens in his kingdom and function as members of his body. We are being transformed through that Word here at Toberkeigh, and we sincerely desire more would taste and see that the Lord is good.

We believe that Christians grow best in local Churches that give proper place to the apostles’ doctrine, sacraments, prayer, fellowship (Acts 2:42).  Seeking to keep God’s written Word central we read, preach, pray, sing, and administer the Word in sacrament.  We desire to be faithful to that Word, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.

Though at different stages on the path, we worship, learn and serve together, and seek to encourage one another in light of the death, resurrection, reign and certain return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you would be interested in becoming a member of Toberkeigh, meeting up one-on-one, attending some of our organisations, or participating in small group discipleship, please ask our Pastor about details.

See the Discipleship dropdown menu for some opportunities at Toberkeigh to connect and grow as a member of the body of Christ.
